Prince William has quietly celebrated two Primetime Emmy nominations for a show he made a cameo in, just hours after it was revealed Meghan Markle had also received a nomination for an award.
The Apple TV series The Reluctant Traveller with Eugene Levy has secured the two prestigious nominations following the prince's brief time on camera back in October 2025.
The Prince of Wales, 44, welcomed the Schitt's Creek star, 79, to Windsor Castle for an episode that has now garnered recognition in two categories: Outstanding Writing For A Nonfiction Program and Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special.
The nominations represent a significant achievement for the travel comedy series, which saw the heir to the throne open up about deeply personal matters during his conversation with the Canadian-American actor.
Mr Levy received an invitation to the royal residence through a letter on Kensington Palace stationery, delivered to his hotel room in January 2025.
The correspondence, signed by William himself, asked whether the actor would fancy popping down to the castle for a private tour the following morning at 10am.
The future King's playful approach set the tone for their encounter, with William greeting his guest while riding an electric scooter through the castle grounds.
Their wide-ranging discussion touched upon the heir's vision for the monarchy's future and his perspective on fatherly duties.

William also reflected on the difficulties he faced in 2024, when both his father King Charles and his wife Catherine were battling cancer.
"I'd say 2024 was the hardest year I've ever had," the prince told Mr Levy as they shared a pint at a pub following their castle tour.
The heir offered a philosophical perspective on adversity, remarking: "You know, life is sent to test us, as well. And being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are."
In a lighter moment, William quipped about whether getting drunk with him had been on Mr Levy's bucket list, to which the actor replied: "That's the bucket!"

The Emmy recognition for William's appearance stands in contrast to the Duchess of Sussex's single Daytime Emmy nomination for her Netflix programme With Love, Meghan in the Outstanding Lifestyle Series category.
Meghan celebrated the news on Instagram, while William has yet to publicly acknowledge his show's achievement.
Meghan wrote: "A huge congratulations to the amazing crew, producers, and team who worked on 'With Love, Meghan' on @netflix. We are nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Series!"
The duchess's cooking series, which launched in March 2025 alongside her As Ever lifestyle brand, received poor reviews and failed to reach Netflix's top 1,000 most-watched programmes according to the streaming platform's viewing figures.

A second series and Christmas special followed, filmed at a rented £5million property near the Sussexes' Montecito residence.
Meghan's lifestyle brand As Ever, which was launched simultaneously with the series, has since parted ways with the streaming giant, with a spokesman confirming in March that the company was "now ready to stand on its own".
Despite this separation, Meghan and Prince Harry maintain their connection with Netflix through Archewell Productions, having secured a first-look deal that gives the platform priority access to their company's future projects.
