US President Donald Trump has pardoned two turkeys named Gobble and Waddle as part of an historic White House ceremony.

Pardoning the largest ever turkeys, Mr Trump petted one of the turkeys as he celebrated the Thanksgiving tradition at The White House alongside First Lady Melania.
