Apple faces tough new competition in the audio department. Motorola, the US-based electronics company, just released its new moto buds bass — a pair of compact Bluetooth-enabled earbuds promising clear audio, hands-free calls, a durable water resistant design, and noise-cancellation at a very affordable price.
While the most affordable pair of AirPods will set you back at least £129, these new moto buds bass only cost £49.99 — less than half Apple's prices. It brings Motorola into competition with the likes of British startup Nothing.
So, if you're looking to upgrade your earbuds, these could prove to be a more affordable option capable of still delivering all the features you'd come to expect while shopping.Be one of the first to own the new moto buds bass
Be one of the first to get your hands on the moto buds bass direct from Motorola. With up to nine hours of listening on a single charge, adjustable noise cancellation features, and a water-repellent coating, you can experience quality performance every time you grab for them
What sets these earbuds apart is the battery life — you'll get nine hours of listening time from the earbuds alone, but pop them back in their case and you're looking at 43 hours total. That's four more hours than you'd see from the new AirPods 4 and 13 more hours when comparing the charging cases.
Speaking of charging, all you need is just ten minutes of charging to give you another two hours of listening time. This could come especially in handy if you're running late in the morning.
In terms of sound quality, it comes with Hi-Res Audio certification, which means it pumps out three times more detail than regular CD quality - so you'll hear every note crystal clear.
Inside each earbud sits a 12.4mm driver that's been specially tuned to boost those low frequencies. When you need to block out the world, the Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation kicks in with up to 50dB of isolation.
They also come with 4kHz cancellation range — which is built in to ensure you can cancel outside noise. The Adaptive ANC allows you to also automatically adjust to your surroundings, or pick your own noise cancellation level manually.

When you're on a call, the triple-microphone system with CrystalTalk AI works hard to make sure you're heard clearly. It tackles echo, cuts out background noise and even reduces wind interference.
The different noise cancellation modes let you choose how much of the outside world you want to hear. There's even a Transparency Mode that keeps you aware of what's happening around you when you need it.
If you're worried about durability, they've got a water-repellent coating that handles splashes and rain, so they won't get damaged if you're caught out in a storm.
