An Afghan man has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder following a triple stabbing in Uxbridge that left one man dead.
Safi Dawood, 22, was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the nationality of the man arrested for the stabbings in Uxbridge after sources on the force informed GB News previously.
The man who died was named locally as 49-year-old Wayne Broadhurst, with police supported by officers.
Jaswant Narwal, Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS London North, said: "Following the shocking triple stabbing which took place in Uxbridge on Monday evening, the Crown Prosecution Service has today announced Safi Dawood, 22, has been charged with the murder of Wayne Broadhurst and the attempted murder of two others.
"Our prosecutors have worked to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to court and that it is in the public interest to pursue criminal proceedings.
"We have worked closely with the Metropolitan Police Service as they carried out their investigation."
The man will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court tomorrow, on October 30.

Two others were stabbed, including a 45-year-old man who suffered life-changing injuries and a 14-year-old boy, the Metropolitan Police said.
The young boy has been discharged from hospital with neither life-changing nor life-threatening injuries.
The force was called to the scene at 5pm on Monday, 27 October, following reports that three people had been stabbed in Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge.
Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, who treated three victims for stab wounds.
